Shari'a Supervisory Board Oversight
رقابة هيئة الرقابة الشرعية
All institutional solutions offered by Al Amal Investment Company KSCC are structured in accordance with Islamic principles, overseen by our independent internal Shari'a Supervisory Board. We offer Shari'a-compliant asset management, private equity, real estate, and sukuk portfolios across all institutional mandates.
Our Shari'a compliance framework applies at the portfolio level, ensuring that each individual holding and instrument within an institutional mandate meets our rigorous screening criteria.
Our Screening Process Includes:
Screening of all investments for Shari'a compliance, covering equity business activities, revenue sources, and debt ratios.
Prohibition of interest-based (riba) instruments, including conventional bonds, derivatives, and credit structures.
Annual Shari'a compliance certificate issued for each institutional mandate by the Shari'a Supervisory Board.
Purification calculation and reporting for any incidental non-compliant income within a mandate.

The five core values extracted from Al Amal's founding principles govern every aspect of our investment management and client service activities.
03
العمل بنزاهة
We act with complete integrity in every client interaction, investment decision, and regulatory filing. We do not compromise on ethics or fiduciary duty, ever.
04
الحفاظ على الأخلاق
Our ethical framework governs not just what we invest in, but how we operate — from CMA disclosure compliance to Shari'a governance and internal audit practices.
05
الاستثمار في الأشخاص
Al Amal invests in the ongoing professional development of our equity analysts, portfolio managers, and support staff, recognising that our people are our primary competitive advantage.
01
العمل ونشر المعرفة
We cultivate a culture of continuous learning, sharing research, and building institutional knowledge that benefits our clients and the broader GCC investment community.
02
المثابرة
Long-term value creation requires patience and resilience. We remain committed to our investment thesis even during periods of market volatility or short-term underperformance.
Three non-negotiable standards that define how Al Amal serves its institutional partners — every mandate, every day.
الشفافية
We provide clear, timely, and comprehensive reporting to every institutional client — monthly portfolio reports, quarterly investment reviews, and annual performance attribution. Full disclosure of fees, conflicts of interest, and risk exposures is standard.
التوافق
Al Amal co-invests alongside our institutional clients in our flagship strategies. Our partners' success is our success. We structure mandates to ensure that our incentives are fully aligned with long-term institutional outcomes, not short-term asset gathering.
الصرامة التنظيمية
Every institutional mandate at Al Amal operates under the full regulatory framework of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Kuwait, the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) where applicable, and international standards including AAOIFI for Shari'a-compliant products.
